| 摘 要： | 数字就是表示数目的字 ,数字与别的词构成的词语称为数字词语。汉语数字和数字词语的联想意义极为丰富。汉语和英语的数字和数字词语的联想意义有相同的一面 ,也有不同的一面。汉语数字和数字词语联想意义英译的方法有 :直译、意译和借译。

| Abstract: | Numerals are the signs that denote numbers. Numerals in combination with other words are defined as numeral-related phrases. The Chinese numerals and numeral-related phrases are rich in their associative meaning which, in part, is both similar to and different from that of the English numerals and numeral-related phrases. To translate the associative meaning of the Chinese numerals and numeral-related phrases into English, may turn to the following methods: literal translation, free translation and substitution. |
