| Abstract: | The communicative approach not only has achieved a lot of achievement but also encounters great resistances during the process of its development since it was adopted in China in 1980's. From different opinions about the conception of the communicative approach and analysing its merits and demerits this paper further studies how the communicative approach can be integrated with the Chinese English classroom. |
