| 摘 要： | 图书馆联机公共目录查询 (ＯＰＡＣ)系统 ,通常用两种方式来显示查询结果 ,一种是卡片形式 ,另一种是机读记录格式。ＨＴＭＬ环境下 ,系统可以用两个不同的ＨＴＭＬ模板来实现这两种显示方式。读者选择一种显示方式 ,直接或间接地向应用服务器发出一个请求 ,应用服务器调出数据 ,并与模板绑定形成ＨＴＭＬ页面返回给读者。由此可见 ,在ＨＴＭＬ环境下 ,应用系统已经能够实现数据与数据表示的分离 ,而这正是ＸＭＬ的一个优点。那么为什么要使用ＸＭＬ呢 ?或者说 ,使用ＸＭＬ的优势在什么地方呢 ? ＸＭＬ环境下 ,读者选择显示方式的时候 ,Ｘ…

| Abstract: | XML requires style languages to implement its functionalities completely. The two major functions of stylelanguages are file transformation and formatting since DSSSL on the SGML arena. XSL follows the approaches of DSSSL,processing XML files as a tree, and there is only one feasible template for each node in that tree. The functions and char-acteristics of the two essential components ofXSL, XSLT and XSL-FO are briefly introduced, then the state-of-the-art ofXML data presentations is summarized. |
