多元智能理论与大学英语教学活动多元化研究

摘    要:大学英语教学改革提倡自主、探究和合作的教学理念,以提高学生英语综合应用能力为目标,促使大学英语教学走向多元化。多元智能理论强调尊重学生个体和人的全面发展,给大学英语多元化教学提供了理论基础。在该理论的启发下,本文阐述了大学英语多元化教学活动的设计原则,并采取自主式、合作式和探究式的多元教学活动模式,有利于培养学生的自主学习能力和促进学生多项智能的平衡发展。

Abstract:In the reform of college English teaching,the concepts of autonomous,inquiring and coop-erative learning are advocated in order to improve students ’English proficiency and diversify English teaching approaches. The Theory of Multiple Intelligences which attaches great importance to the respect of every individual student and people’s all-round development has laid a theoretical foundation for the di-versification of college English teaching. Inspired by this theory,the principles of diversifying the teaching approaches are explored and the teaching models of autonomous learning,inquiring learning and coopera-tive learning are adopted. All these teaching models are helpful to cultivate students’autonomous learning competence and balance the development of students’multiple intelligences.
