| 摘 要： | 英语词汇十分丰富,一词多义、一词多性、一词既多义又多性是这门语言的普遍现象,而对多义性及多功能性的了解在学习和研究这门语言过程中不仅是重要的,而且是十分必要的。认知语言学是语言学研究的一门新的边缘学科,从认知视角来诠释英语词汇多义性及多功能性,并对其演变的成因加以探讨和说明。

| Abstract: | English vocabulary consists of large varieties of words,many of which have more than one meaning,or have more than one part of speech,and some of which not only have more than one meaning but at the same time have more than one part of speech.This is a quite common phenomenon in English vocabulary.Understanding this phenomenon is not only important but also necessary to the learning and studying of English language.Cognitive linguistics probes into and demonstrates its formation from a new perspective. |
