| 摘 要： | 《孽海花》被称为晚清四大谴责小说之一,但实际上它的重心不在暴露谴责,而在文化反思。作者特意安排了平行对照的情节结构,通过男女主人公之间、男性群体之间、女性群体之间的多重比照,渐次否定了中国的各个文化群体,最后作者持肯定态度的却只是来自异域的人物,从而凸现了作者对社会转型期国民劣根性的反思。
