| Abstract: | Chinese language media is an important means of communication in the greater Chinese culture domain. It is also an acculturation medium between the Chinese immigrants and their host country. The United States is one of the most developed areas for overseas Chinese media. This paper analyzes the historical, current, and future development paradigms of Chinese language newspapers in California, the state with the largest Chinese population. |
