| Abstract: | The development of the Basic Chinese course at Beijing Sport University was discussed and analysed in this paper. Taking the characteristics of physical education and sport into consideration, this study also gave a systematic account of the goal, the implementation, and the teaching strategy of the course as well as the construction of course books. |
