| 摘 要： | 刘勰在《心雕龙》中对“比兴”问题的阐发将中国古代诗学中的比兴研究推到了新的高度；新批评对比喻所作的研究则体现从语言人手研究学的意义。本主要从三个层面加以探讨：一、修辞层面。刘勰揭示了比、兴的成因、功能以及二的关联，新批评则从比喻中发现语义的对立统一；二、心理层面。刘勰的意象论将构思与表达结合起来，新批评则排斥心理因素，标举语象；三、化层面。刘勰的比兴论体现了天人合一观念，是一种化修辞学，新批评则以比喻作为学本质属性，是一种本体修辞学。

| Abstract: | Liu Xie systematically and deeply demonstrated on bi and xing in Wenxindiaolong and he promoted studies on bi and xing in ancient Chinese poetics; the research of literature made by the New Criticism focused on linguistic meaning, which embodied the significance of studying literature according to the language. This paper will research from three levels: first, rhetoric. Liu revealed the source and function of bi and xing and he pointed out their connection. While the New Criticism emphasized the unity of opposites of meaning from metaphor; second, psychology. Liu connected the conception and the expression with his theory about the image; the New Criticism opposed psychology and they wanted the item of verbal icon; finally, culture. Liu wanted to resolve the contradiction between the language and the meaning so his theory showed the thought of the unity of the universe and man. His theory belongs to cultural rhetoric; the New Criticism believed that metaphor was the essence of literature so their theory could be regarded as ontological rhetoric. Then we can understand the inner cultural spirits and trends. |
