| 摘 要： | 很多人钟情于 19世纪英国批判现实主义代表作家之一夏洛蒂·勃朗特的代表作《简·爱》 ,崇尚她在小说中描述的与传统不同的女主人公简·爱的勇于追求自由、平等和独立精神。本文意在通过比较和对小说中的情节分析来探求女主人公的反传统性。

| Abstract: | Jane Eyre is the most representative work of Charlotte Bronte , who is considered as an extraordinary woman novelist. Because the novel throbs with the heart-beats of its author, both literary critics and the readers have taken great interest in its unconventional heroine Jane Eyre, whose unconventionality is shown in the heroine pursuit for liberty, equality and independence. This essay, therefore, is dedicated to probe the heroine's unconventionality with a comparison between the heroines and traditional images of women, which marks its heroine totally new in its genre. |
