| Abstract: | Based on the materials collected from different parts of Guangxi, this paper shows that Ma Yuan's conquest of Guangxi has had a historical influence on Guangxi's development. The historical influence is active. It reflects from one aspect that Ma Yuan has played a non-substitute role in the process of carrying out the county system in history. For thousands of years Ma Yuan has been admired and worshipped by the people of different nationalities in Guangxi. It also shows that the people in Guangxi love peace and reunification of our motherland. |
