| Abstract: | This paper discusses the application of schema theory in teaching of journalistic English reading,which aims to help students improve their reading comprehension and enhance their communicative ability.It analyzes the relationship between content schema and vocabulary teaching,content schema and background knowledge teaching, formal schema and genre-based teaching,abstract schema and semantic inductive teaching in journalistic English reading to expound that schema theory can play an instructive role in the teaching of journalistic English reading. |
