| 摘 要： | 党的十七大报告指出，“社会和谐是中国特色社会主义的本质属性”。《中共中央关于构建社会主义和谐社会若干重大问题的决定》强调，“构建社会主义和谐社会是建设中国特色社会主义的重大战略任务，是对我们党执政能力的重大考验：”社会发展动力问题是社会发展理论研究的重要内容之一。本文从分析当前存在社会发展的“失衡”问题入手，指出了在构建社会主义和谐社会中，如何运用“合力论”整合社会发展动力，从而最大限度地激发社会活力。
