| 摘 要： | 花华圣经书房系19世纪中叶来华美国传教士在华设立的第一个翻译出版机构，为外来传教士，特别是美国传教士在华进行西学翻译传播活动提供了地利人和的用武之地，它经过数十年的迁徙演变，发展成为在中国颇有影响的翻译出版机构，在晚清翻译史上不但有开来华美国传教士编译出版书籍之先河的作用，而且是晚清译坛一支不可小视的长盛不衰的有生力量。
