| Abstract: | Traditional English teaching pays much more attention to the vocabulary and grammar teaching than the introduction of stylistics. The paper gives the brief introduction to the theory of stylistics and illustrates the application of the theory to upgrade students＇ language communication skill, literature appreciation skill and translation skill. |
