| Abstract: | Options for the production of camera-ready copy for journals are described. The advantages and problems of setting from author- or editor-supplied magnetic media are outlined, with an introduction to coding systems. Some implications of the use of in-house desktop publishing systems by publishers are discussed and suggestions for further reading given. |
