| 摘 要： | 教会大学是指西方传教士在华开办的高等教育机构，它在中国近代教育史上的地位和作用是不容忽视的。在教会大学史上，教会大学通过联合办学，克服了自身办学条件的不足，提高了教育水平，为教会教育的发展提供了新的发展契机，其成功实践为当前民办高校的发展提供了有益借鉴。

| Abstract: | The missionary universities refer to the higher educational institutions run by the western missionaries in China. Their position and role in modern Chinese educational history is important. In the history, by running jointly, the missionary universities overcame the weakness of their teaching conditions, raised their educational level, and offered a new chance for the development of missionary education. Their successful practice provides beneficial enlightenment to the present development of private Colleges. |
