| 摘 要： | 19世纪中后期，西方教会在我国各地建立起多所宗教色彩浓厚的教会大学。教会在华创办的高等院校是殖民主义侵略中国的工具，但在客观上还是起到一定的积极作用。历史发展到今天．有必要对教会所办高校的历史作用进行客观的评价。

| Abstract: | In the late nineteenth century, the western church built many church universities with strong religious overtones in China. The church universities were the tool of colonialism aggressing China, but objec- tively these universities played a certain positive role. It is necessary to make an objective assessment on the historical role of China modem Christian universities. |
