| Abstract: | There is a traditional concept which holds that the meaning scopes of ancient and modern Chinese characters are aot equal,namely the meaning scope of ancient Chinese character is larger than that of modern Chinese character.By setting a rigorous limit to the connotation of ancient Chinese character,this essay holds that the meaning scopes of ancient and modern Chinese characters are epual. |
