| Abstract: | Wang Kai-yun devoted his life to academic education in the late Qing Dynasty and made historical contribution.His education thought had great influence on the change of learning climate in Sichuan and Hunan province of modern times.He educated a lot of outstanding persons.Wang Kai-yun had unique educational views which include the view of academic study covering the belief of life-long learning,the view that there should be no class distinction in education,and the view that learners should understand academic research and put them into practical use. |
