| 摘 要： | 作者从地方文献概念入手，对地方文献在公共图书馆中的特殊地位进行了探讨，揭示了地方文献在促进本地区社会发展中的重要作用，指出了目前我国公共图书馆地方文献工作中存在的问题与不足，并对如何发挥公共图书馆地方文献的核心服务能力发表了自己的看法，特别强调加强地方文献理论体系研究，提升省级公共图书馆在本省地方文献工作中的引领作用，抓好县级公共图书馆地方文献收集与管理工作。
