| 摘 要： | 英汉语言之间语言交往活动的非对称性是存在于两种语言之间语言的学习、教授以及语言之间的翻译活动的不平衡性.对于这种非对称性在政治经济文化几个方面所造成的有利于英语国家而不利于中国的后果,可以作出这样的解释:两种语言之间的语言交往活动的非对称性是由于相应的文化的不同特质决定的.由于语言的强势地位依赖于文化的繁荣,文明的昌盛,中华民族唯有发挥自己的创造性,汉文化与语言丰富发展并与英语取得平等的地位才会指日可待.

| Abstract: | The asymmetry of lingual interactions between Chinese language and English language denotes the unbalance between the activities of learning, teaching and translation between the two languages. As result of the difference in the natures of different cultures, the asymmetry causes unfairness of benefit to China and the English speaking countries politically, economically and culturally. The opposite, i.e. symmetry of lingual interaction, however, will in the end take the place of the asymmetry as result of the collusion of the two civilizations: the western and Chinese civilization. |
