| Abstract: | Halliday and Hasan＇s English cohesion theory,which consists of grammatical cohesive devices and lexical cohesive devices,can help English majors to analyze three common English text patterns which usu ally appear in English major＇s reading comprehension and to analyze the semantic relation within the text.Moreover,it explores and provides a new method and a fresh idea for English reading teaching. |
