| Abstract: | he outstanding characteristics of the soil resources are of high salt contentand poor soil fertility in the Yellow River delta and the coastal zone of Bobal Bayand Laizhou Bay (only part of Shandong Province). The soil genesis and developmental tendency depend upon natural factors such as a dry climate, fluctuationof tail channel of the Yellow River, salt water intrusion and storm surge hit,andhuman activities. By combining biological measures with engineering measures,drought, waterlogging, soil salinization, saline ground water and infertility willbe comprehensively managed agriculture, forestry, animal husbandry, fishery andsalt industry will be overall developed. This proves to be a feasible way to exploit the soil resources rationally and maintain ecological balance. |
