Analysis on Students' Errors in Their Learning Process

摘    要:英语学习者在学习过程中必然要犯这样或那样的错误,分析学生的错误对教学工作起着重要作用.错误分析可以使教师了解学生学习过程中所存在的问题和面临的困难,并以此调整教学内容和教学计划,指导教学工作,使所有的教学时间有效地用于提高学生的英语水平上.语言学家根据不同的理论对学习者所产生的错误有不同的分类方法。本文列举出学生普遍存在的错误典型并将之归纳为语言错误和语用错误,即是否违反了语言的结构规则:语法,词汇,(本文没有表述语音错误),还是违反了语言的使用规则:语言的使用时间,场合是否得体.通过分析错误,指出教学和学习中存在的问题。由此说明错误分析是十分必要的。

Abstract:A language learner often commits different errors in his learning process. Errors analysis plays an important role in teaching, which provides teachers with information about how much the learner has learnt and the problems the learner is facing in his study of a language. With the information, teachers can adjust their teaching plan to make their teaching work more effective. Linguists have different categories of errors. In this paper I present some common errors that my students made in their learning process and I divide these errors into two types: linguistic error and pragmatic failure. With the analysis on these errors, I claim that teachers can' t ignore the value of errors. Error analysis is very necessary and helpful to language teaching.Errors play a valuable role in the aim of teaching. If we ignore the value of errors that our students have made, we might waste much time on the items that students have mastered.So error analysis is necessary and helpful to language teaching.
