| 摘 要： | 高职英语教育是一门基础教育，具有自身特点。目前高职英语教育中普遍存在生源英语基础薄弱，水平参差不齐，师资不足，教学方法陈旧及教学设备落后等问题，严重地阻碍了英语教学水平的提高和学生英语实际应用能力的培养，应尽快更新教育观念，改革教学模式，加强师资队伍建设，扩大现代教育技术的应用，以适应高职院校培养应用型人才的需要。
