| 摘 要： | 主要比较分析福克纳的小说《纪念爱米丽的一朵玫瑰花》和汤显祖的戏剧《牡丹亭》,在对作品中的两位女性爱米丽与杜丽娘作简要分析的基础上,从个体与社会的角度,探讨了她们不同命运结局的原因,以及由此展现出来的中西方化的某些异质与同质,指出一个伟大的作家之思想既具有传统性,又具有现代性。

| Abstract: | This paper comparatively analyses Faulkner'short story"A Rose for Emily" and Tang Xiangzu's drama"Tree Peony Pavilion"?Setting about the brief analysis of the two female characters Emily and Du Linian, this paper has probed into the reasons of their different results of the destiny, and some heterogeneity and homogeneity of the Chinese and Western culture in terms of the individual and the society, so that we know the great writer' traditional thoughts and the modern thinking. |
