| 摘 要： | 《等待野蛮人》是2003年诺贝尔文学奖得主南非作家约翰·马克思韦尔·库切的作品之一。运用女性主义理论，揭示作品中所体现的男性主体性社会对女性的束缚与压迫，以及女性被赋予的静默、边缘化形象。从女性主义的阅读视角看，女性的静默、边缘化一方面体现了女性的被动与地位缺失状况，另一方面也潜伏着颠覆性的力量，等待爆发。

| Abstract: | Waiting for the Barbarians is one of the works written by South African writer J.M.Coetzee who won the Nobel Prize for literature of 2003.By adopting the approach of feminism,this paper aims to reveal the oppression and the image of being silent and marginalized that imposed on women in male society.From the views of feminist reading,women’s silence and marginalization,on one hand,manifest their passivity and lack of status.On the other hand,there also lies the potential disruptive power,waiting for its outbreak. |
