| 摘 要： | 应用语言学是一门独立的、其它任何学科又无法替代的新兴边缘学科，它有其自己的理论、原则和研究方法，应用语言学有狭义和广义之分。这一点语言学家们已经达成了共识，但是，在有些方面，他们还在各抒己见，众说纷纭，如．应用语言学的定义、应用语言学的研究范围、应用语言学的理论等等。应用语言学研究面广，涉及的问题多．它既研究理论的应用．又研究其自身的理论，可以说，当今应用语言学的内容和以前相比已经发生了很大变化。本文主要讨论应用语言学的理论、应用语言学的研究范围、应用语言学的发展等几个问题。

| Abstract: | Applied linguistics is a new, independent and interdisciplinary science and has its own theories, principles and research methods. Linguists have got an agreement that applied linguistics can be discussed broadly and narrowly. Broadly, applied linguistics includes anything to which linguistics could be applied; narrowly, it means the application of linguistic findings to language teaching and learning. But they cannot reach an agreement that applied linguistics has its own theories, some said applied linguistics is only a pure applied discipline and it has not its own theories, others said no to it. In this paper, I will mainly discuss some theories of applied linguistics, the development of applied linguistics, the scope of its study and so on. |
