| Abstract: | When French scholar Taine wrote on ancient Greek sport s ,he talked as if t here would be no art wit hout it . In t his book , Taine gave more meaning to sport s and held t hat t he combination of sport s and art was just like that of oneπs body and soul . Through art , sport s had been preserved and through sport s ,art had been st rengt hened. The interpretation of Taineπs sport s ideology can reveal t he philosop hical per spective sport s through art . |
