| 摘 要： | 中法战争结束后,中、越、缅三国边界日渐分明,为捍卫疆土不为英法帝国主义所侵,作为云贵总督的岑毓英积极采取措施加强边防建设。他在中法滇越谈判中据理力争收疆土,为我方抢占有利战略地形,沿边驻防稳定边疆,汰弱留强练精兵,提高滇军的战斗力;他积极筹建电报以通信息,添设机构强化管理,完善边防设施提升防御的有效性;他在重视防务建设的同时,积极地缉拿匪徒靖边境,安抚少数民族得民心,这些措施为巩固云南边防提供有力的保障,创造良好的社会环境。
