| 摘 要： | 宝鸡城市的兴起和发展历史悠久,但成为现代化的城市却比较晚,陇海铁路是宝鸡成为现代化城市的杠杆。水陆交通便利只是城市兴起和发展的一个条件,而城市兴起和发展的主要条件则是平原广阔和水源丰富。宝鸡市区平原狭小,水源奇缺,是制约宝鸡城市发展的主要瓶颈。宝鸡只能发展成为一个中等城市,绝不能发展成为大城市,更不能发展成为特大城市。

| Abstract: | The rise and development of Baiji as a city is of a long history,but it was in very late days that it became a modern one,in which the Gansu-Lianyungang Railway played a key role.Since the rise and development of a city depends mainly on vast plains and rich water resources,Baoji can develop only into a medium-size city,not likely to turn into a metropolis,let alone a megacity. |
