| Abstract: | Gun Baojun＇s Studies of Literary Selections in the Song Dynasty is an excellent doctoral dissertation. The traditional opinion that the study in Song is decling and mediocre is thus overturned in the paper. A new conclusion is also proposed with abundant materials as proof that studies of literary selections in the Song Dynasty is not mediocre. The dissertation is thought to be convincing with comprehensice analysis, wide vision, appropriate verification, and original ideas. |
