| 摘 要： | 理解词义是英汉互译过程中的关键环节。词语的色彩意义虽说不是词义的核心部分,但却是词形所传达出的语义信息,对于理解词义进而实现两种语言之间的恰当转换起着非常重要的作用。词语的色彩意义主要表现在感情、形象、语体、联想、风格和民族这几个方面。

| Abstract: | Understanding the meaning of words is the key step in the process of translation between English and Chinese.Semantic overtone is not the core of the word meaning,but the semantic information conveyed by the word.It plays a vital role in understanding the meaning of the word and appropriate conversion between two languages.Semantic overtones mainly include the following aspects: feeling,image,language,style and national characteristics. |
