| 摘 要： | 否定前移在英语中是一种特别的现象。功能语法致力于解释为什么说话者在可供选择的范围内选择某一种特定的措辞以及特定表达有这样的形式的原因。与常规的直接否定从句的表达相比,能进行否定前移的动词有着共同的特点,否定前移的可能性有着一定的限制。功能语法的特点更能解释形式和意义的关系,为否定前移的形式做出解释。

| Abstract: | Transferred Negation is a peculiar phenomenon in English.Functional grammar aims to explain why speakers choose one particular wording but not others available in the range of choices in a particular context and why expressions come to have the present forms.Compared with the negation directly in the dependent clause,the verbs which can undergo transferred negation have some features in common,and the possibility of transferred negation is limited by some factors.The characteristics of functional grammar can better explain the relationship between form and meaning and provide explanation for the existence of transferred negation. |
