| Abstract: | The paper introduces Unified Modeling Language (UML), an object oriented visual modeling language, and explains how models are used in the development process of library information system, and the role of UML components such as use cases and interaction diagrams. Taking the example of circulation system of library information system, the paper shows that UML-based visual modeling can play an important role in system analysis and designing in library, and gives corresponding model of analysis and designing. |
