摘    要:英语教师的专业素质在促进学生英语能力发展的过程中起着不可替代的关键作用,英语教师自身的知识结构不仅影响到学生的知识结构的发展,还影响到英语教学的成败。文章在对英语教师知识结构研究的基础上,分析目前高校英语教育和师资知识结构的现状,探讨存在的问题,讨论新形势下构建高校英语教师多元化知识结构的重要性,提出英语教师多元化知识结构是培养复合型英语人才不可或缺的重要条件和必要保证。

On the Establishment of English Teachers' Multi-dimensioned Knowledge Structure in the Process of Cultivating Multi-skilled Personnel in Colleges and Universities

Abstract:English teachers' professional competence plays an irreplaceable key role in the process of developing students' English competence.And teachers' own knowledge structure not only influences the development of students' knowledge structure but also greatly affects the teaching result. The author of this paper analyzes the present situation of higher English education and teachers' knowledge structure based on the relevant research, exploring the existing problems and proposes the importance of establishing English teachers' multi - dimensioned knowledge structure which is indispensable and very essential for rearing multi - skilled English personnel to meet the growing needs of rapidly developing society.
