| 摘 要： | 成立于1911年的卡耐基基金会是美国著名的一个慈善机构,20世纪前半叶,它通过创立美国成人教育协会、委托心理学家桑代克开展成人学习能力与兴趣研究、资助出版成人教育著作、帮助成立相关组织等形式,实践基金会的成人教育主张,有力地推动了美国成人教育事业的发展。

| Abstract: | The Carnegie Corporation,which was established in 1911,belongs to the famous charity organizations in the history of America.It actively supported the American adult education mainly by taking the following measures:(1)invite well-known psychologist Thorndike to make some research about adult learning ability and interests;(2)set up the American Association for Adult Education;(3)invest the publishment of adult education works;(4)help other organizations to offer service for persons in the local community.Not only have these steps turned into reality the Carnegie Corporation's ideas on adult education,but they made great contributions to the promotion of adult education in the United States. |
