摘    要:中国修身文化的和谐意蕴主要包括“知耻近勇”的道德底线、“正己尚仁”的价值追求、“重节养气”的精神动力、“慎独尊行”的心灵守护、“贵和倡中”的实践方法和“博学多思”的知识积累等。个体身心如果经过上述多向修炼,人对自身的把握便具有了现实的本质特性,那么儒家设计的“人皆可以为尧舜”的人的发展就必然会演奏出社会大和谐、人际大和谐、天人大和谐的美妙乐章。把握这种和谐意蕴对我们建设和谐社会和构建和谐教育具有重大的价值和意义。

Abstract:The connotations of Chinese culture of cultivating personal character involve the moral bottom line of "knowing disgrace and being brave", value pusuit of "rectifying self and advocating kindness", the spiritual motivation of "stressing and cultivating moral integrity", the soul protection of "being blameless in the private life and acting according to one's consistent principle", the practical method of "attaching importance to harmony and advocating golden mean", and knowledge accumulation of "being learned and thoughtful". If a person's body and mind are cultivated in these aspects, his/her understanding of himself/herself may have the realistic, intrinsic characteristic. Thus, a person's development the idea that "everybody can be Yao and Shun" designed by the Confucian, would be bound to play a wonderful movement of big harmony of society, of human relationship, and of universe and human beings. The mastery of these connotations is quite meaningful and valuable for us to construct harmonious society and education.
