| Abstract: | "Mars Language" is now widely used on the internet by young people who were mostly born after the year of 1990.This thesis discusses whether it is a real language or not in linguistics and reached the conclusion that "Mars Language" is not language but a group of symbols based on the traditional Chinese language."Mars Language" shows more cultural function of symbols rather than its expressive function of a language. |
