| Abstract: | The paper gives an environmental scan for libraries in the digital era. It reviews the facts from the reading behavior survey, comparing to the figures of current library usage, and put the scenario with a background of the digitization process of the whole publishing industry chain. Finally it＇ s been concluded with a prediction of the bright future for digital library if we can turn challenges into chances and make good use of the paradigm shift with the digital media industry. |
