| 摘 要： | 艾略特的《荒原》弥漫着作者对代表整个人类文明发展成就的城市文明的厌恶、甚至绝望，充满着强烈的批判色彩。文章意在通过对《荒原》文本中城市意象的解读，来透析艾略特眼中的城市文明，并对文章的主题进行体认。
