摘    要:通过问卷和访谈,调查商务英语专业学生对教师的满意度,对比不同层次高校对商务英语教师的核心能力需求。结果表明,总体满意度较高,高、低年级学生在满意度上差异显著,不同层次高校无显著差异。商务英语教师的核心能力需求具有独特性,体现在知识、技能和情感三个维度。广博的知识面、扎实的英语语言和商务沟通技能、独特的商务英语情感和较丰富的商务实践技能是商英教师能力的核心要素。此研究对商务英语学科建设有积极作用。

Abstract:The research aims to investigate student satisfaction for business English teachers and compare the key competency needs for them in different universities .The findings reveal that most students are satisfied with the competency of their business English teachers with significant difference between students in the first year and other levels .There is so significance in universities of different levels .Key competency needs for business English teachers are different in such 3 dimensions as knowledge , skills and beliefs in business English .Encyclopedic knowledge , sound English and business communicative skills , beliefs and rich experience in business English are unique factors for business English teachers .The research helps with the development of business English as a discipline.
