| Abstract: | There are four neo - Confucianism sentences proposed by Zhang Zai ： ＂ By the universe, it has the name of the day. By the gasification, it has the name of the way. Combining empty with mad, it has the name of the nature. Combining the nature with the consciousness, it has the name of the heart＂. This article tries to analyze the connotative meanings of these four neo - Confucianism sentences in order to understand such related philosophy concepts as ＂the universe＂, ＂the day＂, ＂ the mad＂, ＂the way＂, ＂ the nature＂, ＂the heart＂, aiming at finding out the basic structure of the philosophy by Zhang Zai through level analysis of such words. |
