| 摘 要： | 从19世纪60年代初到90年代中期,洋务运动历时30余年。这一时期,是帝国主义对我国的侵略日趋加深的时期,是中国社会的“大变局”时期。震惊于“数千年来未有之变局”和“数千年来未有之强敌”,曾国藩、李鸿章、左宗棠等洋务派人物积极从国外引进军事装备和机器生产,师其所长,夺其所恃,并极力把这一思想主张付诸于实践。洋务运动便是这一实践活动的具体体现。

| Abstract: | Westernization Movement lasted for over 30 years from 30's to 60's in the nineteenth century.This was a phase during which imperialism was invading China day after day and society witnessed "great changes".Astounded by the "changes that had never been seen"and the "mighty enemies that had never been confronted with",Zhen Guo-fan,Li Hong-zhang,Zuo Zong-tang and those who were a westernization school actively introduced into military equipment and machinery production,learned strong points from westerners,captured what they had been backed and did their endeavour to put this idea into practice.Westernization movement was an embodiment of the practice. |
