| 摘 要： | 1929—1931年,胡适发起了名躁一时的人权运动,充分展示了他的人权思想,产生了强烈的社会反响。但这场人权运动不久就偃旗息鼓了。究其原因,首先是因为当时的中国社会不具备人权保障的条件,人权运动没有深厚的群众基础;其次人权运动与国民党的专制统治产生了尖锐的矛盾,因而被国民党所镇压;最后,胡适政治人格的软弱性也注定了人权运动失败的必然命运。

| Abstract: | Between 1929 and 1931, Hu--Shi led the famous human rights movement, which showed his human rights thought and produced striking social reflection, but the movement failed later. As to the causes of failure, one is that there was no condition to protect human rights in then China so that human rights movement had no deep mass base; the other is that human rights movement was against with Kuomingdangs dictatorship so that it was repressed by the ruler; the last is that Hu--Shi＂ weak political personality decided the failure of human rights movement. |
