构建建构主义英语教学观

摘    要:建构主义认为:知识并非被动地接受而是由认知主体主动建构的,学习是在原有知识的基础上主动建构的过程。建构主义英语教学观-反传统的教师灌输、学生被动接受的行为主义机械教学观,也不苟同乔姆斯基的语言习得机制先天论。建构主义英语教学观认为,语言学习是与环境交互作用、学习者主体主动建构知识的过程。为此,建构主义教学观倡导学生中心、凸现问题教学、情景教学、合作教学及综合评价。

Abstract:Constructivism holds that knowledge is not passively received but built up by the cognizing subject,and learning is an active construction based on the prior knowledge. Constructivist perspective on English teaching criticizes behaviorist perspective on language teaching, which tolerates mechanic decontextualized teaching method and holds a different view from Chomsky who claims that the language acquisition device or Universal Grammar (UG) is innate and linguistic competence is determined by the genetic endowment. It advocates student-centered instruction, problem-solving instruction, situated teaching, cooperative learning and portfolio assessment.
