| Abstract: | This paper discusses the neeessity and feasibility of an on - going small - sized eorpora- Huaihna University English Major＇s Writing Englisll Copora （HUEMWEC for short） and reports the basic methods to build it. Then, it is illustrated that HUEM~EC could be applied to develop learning mode of self- study and inquiry, strenghten the guidance of teaching, evaluate and reflect on teaching and learning, provide senior students with empirical data to write related graduation theses. |
