英语口语水平与大学英语四级成绩的相关分析

摘    要:英语的听、说、读、写四项基本技能中,"说"是最基本的交际技能,也最能体现英语的实际应用能力,对英语口语水平与大学英语四级成绩进行相关分析具有重要的现实指导意义.运用SPSS18.0软件,首先对口语水平这一主要变量进行量化处理,然后使其分别与大学英语四级各单项成绩和总成绩五个变量进行图示法和相关系数法分析,用实证研究的方法论证相关关系,强调高校英语教学应注重学生口语水平的提升,以促进学生的全面发展.

Abstract:Generally, speaking is the embody the ability to apply most basic communication skill in the four basic English skills and can best English into practice. However, the examination -oriented education tends to despise and even ignore the training of oral English skill so that students' levels of oral English are widely and relatively low. So there is realistic instructional significance to carry out the relevance analysis between oral English and College English Test Band 4 Results. By using the software SPSS18.0, oral English, the major variable, is quantified at first; then, it is analyzed respectively with other five variables in graphic method and relevance coefficient method. In empirical research means, the relevant relationship is proved in order to emphasize the importance for colleges and universities to develop students' oral English in English teaching and to promote students' comprehensive development.
