| Abstract: | Analyzes and compares of the functions of traditional libraries and digital libraries, the evolution of document carriers and the strategic view of the sustainable development. From these 3 aspects, the authors point out that digital libraries will eventually replace traditional libraries, and put forward the relationship among temporary complement, gradual relay and eventual replacement. |
